Work from Exquisite Corpses is now on show in You and I are Discontinuous Beings an exhibition of drawings at Birmingham City University gallery. The work exhibited is Shadow of a Trace, a pair of mirrored graphite drawings of a garment in the Ryerson Fashion Research Collection. At first glance, the drawings appear to be simple rubbings of the garment, which on closer inspection is revealed to be impossible as both sides of the mirrored image are identical, folds and all. This the first drawing from the project to be publicly exhibited. The exhibition runs from 2 -14 May 2018.
